My teaching is based on Ashtanga Yoga and blends therapeutic principles of Ayurveda with elements of dance and creative movement. I have been teaching yoga 15 years and I use my experience to teach people how to tailor their yoga to suit their unique needs and aspirations. Each practice begins with creation of a heart-stirring intention with the purpose of cultivating Sustainable Yoga for Long-term Happiness. What follows is an individualized approach with myriad variations to satisfy each participant. I also incorporate poetry, music and occasionally, blindfolds to give my students a rich experience. This work is highly transformative and yet, we keep it light and we have fun.
