Overview

Yoga + Ayurveda Healing I is an immersion program that helps develop and deepen personal practice. Therapeutic yoga practices, meditation, breathing exercises, postural alignment, joint mobility exercises, nutrition counselling and ayurvedic techniques are included.

Learn simple principles to support digestion, sleep, graceful aging, immunity, weight management, increased energy and general happiness and wellbeing. The intention of Yoga + Ayurveda Healing I is to offer life enhancing tools to better understand oneself, to promote healing and improve our quality of life: mind, body and spirit.

Certificate

Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program. This certificate can be used as continuing education credits and/or toward a 200 or 300 hour Therapeutic Yoga Teacher certification.

  • Morning Yoga Practices to loosen up, boost energy & feel great – all levels;

Yoga + Ayurveda for Women

Overview

If yoga is a gem for women, then Ayurveda is the stars, the moon and the heavens.

This workshop, led by yoga teacher and ayurvedic practitioner, Yasmin Fudakowska-Gow, addresses the natural hormonal changes of women both spanning a lifetime as well as the monthly cycle. We will discuss ways to treat and support menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, motherhood and even menopause and senior years.

Through breathing, yoga, meditation, herbology, nutrition and other ayurvedic techniques, you will also learn how to improve digestion, sleep and immunity as well as to alleviate PMS symptoms and menstrual irregularities.

After all, Menstruation is part of our innate wisdom as women. It’s the only event in human life that corresponds with the ebb and flow of the lunar cycle. Those who call it a “curse” are missing the opportunity to contemplate, release, and restore.

Yasmin will also teach four distinct practices that complement and assist each phase of the menstrual cycle.
