DESCRIPTION:Experience the magic of five consecutive mornings of yoga and meditation with Morning Yoga by the Lake — an unforgettable urban yoga retreat just 25km from Montreal. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of sunrise over Lac Saint-Louis\, each session builds on the previous one to create a deeply transformational experience for body\, mind\, and spirit. \nWe gather at dawn near Pointe-Claire Village and unroll our mats facing the rising sun. The day begins with conscious breathing and a guided meditation\, followed by a slow and steady Ayurvedic yoga workshop. Each class takes a therapeutic approach\, allowing for deep release\, self-inquiry\, and alignment. \nAfter relaxation\, enjoy a nourishing picnic breakfast featuring fresh fruit\, savoury dishes\, muffins\, and hot tea or coffee. She made history as the first woman to break the Guinness World Record for the longest yoga marathon (32 hours)\, an initiative that raised over $12\,000 for charity. At her Montreal studio\, Loft108\, she offers Ayurvedic consultations\, leads professional trainings\, and hosts wellness events. Yasmin is also a writer\, activist\, and lover of nature\, 90s hip hop\, and functional fitness. \nBruce Chase-DunnBruce is a dedicated yoga teacher with over 2\,500 hours of teaching experience. Trained in Hatha and Ashtanga yoga\, he also teaches restorative\, yin\, wall yoga\, and guided meditation. A graduate of Yasmin’s 300-hour YTT and a certified yoga therapist\, Bruce specializes in helping clients manage anxiety and depression through breathwork and therapeutic asanas. He’s passionate about the outdoors\, cycling\, and exploring the deep roots of yoga.
