Yasmin Yoga Loft
Yoga O’Noir is an insightful blindfolded yoga workshop created by experienced yoga teacher and ayurvedic practitioner, Yasmin Fudakowska Gow.
With your eyes covered, you are free from the distractions. You are encouraged to let go of your need to conform postures to a certain aesthetic and release inhibitions that normally arise in a group setting. Custom blindfolds are provided. We begin with journaling, meditation, breathing, intention and sensory perception exercises. What follows is a heart stirring sequence of simple postures designed for all levels to feel at ease. We end our session with a carefully guided deep relaxation.
Through clear instructions and beautiful music, Yoga O’Noir is an opportunity to look within, cultivate compassion and explore the practice like never before.
THEME: Spring Detox Flow – A slow flow of twists, forward bends and postures to enhance digestion, immunity and the body’s natural detoxification process.
Testimonials from participants:
“I thought the practice was very relaxing. Without light, it’s as though my mind also shut down and my body was just following instructions. It felt like one long flowing movement. My intention was ‘I am happy’ and I was indeed very happy to be able to do this. It was quite and experience. It was almost dream-like.” – Anonymous
“Practice was great! Because of my lack of practice I would have enjoyed more guidance through the sun salutation. Thanks for another first!” – Mark
“First time doing anything other then regular Moksha or flow class. It was amazing! I never knew I could balance without looking. It was an incredible experience.” – Josh Morant
“It was nice to look inward and not be aware of what other people were doing. The blindfold made it easier to let go. It was also interesting to have a bit less spatial awareness and really feel where my body wanted to go and what it wanted to do. It made me smile not to know what I looked like or where exactly I was. ” – Melinda
