Morning Yoga by the Lake is a magnificent urban yoga retreat that must be experienced this summer. Not only because of how beautiful it is to be on the water at dawn, but because the benefits of five consecutive days of yoga and meditation are HUGE. Each practice builds on the one before creating a transformational experience.

We meet at dawn just outside the Pointe Claire Village (about 25km from Montreal) and stretch out our mats facing the rising sun. We begin with breathing and meditation and gradually make our way through a workshop style ayurvedic yoga sequence. The pace is slow yet steady and postures are examined with a therapeutic approach.

After relaxation, a picnic breakfast complete with muffins, savoury dishes, fruit and hot coffee and tea awaits. There are always vegan and gluten-free options available. And if you need to leave early, no problem! We will pack your breakfast to go!
